NWT's primary business is the supply of defence products through our principal relationships. A focused set of supporting services surrounds that core, covering procurement, training, and advisory work that helps clients specify, integrate, and operate the equipment they buy from us.

Four supporting capabilities.

Procurement

End-to-end procurement of defence equipment from our principal partners and wider supplier network. NWT manages specification, supplier liaison, end-user certification, shipping, customs clearance, and on-arrival inspection.

MRO and spares

Maintenance, repair, overhaul, and parts supply for fielded equipment. Performance-based, time-and-materials, and spares-only engagement models. See the MRO and spares page for the full capability.

Training

Operator and technician training on the products NWT supplies, from initial cadre training to ongoing refresher programmes. Delivered on-site, at OEM facilities, or through blended classroom and field instruction.

Advisory

Independent advisory support on equipment selection, technology evaluation, and feasibility studies. Helps customers structure their requirement before going to market and assess what they receive afterwards.

How it fits together

Products first, services around them.

A typical engagement starts with a product requirement, often discussed during initial scoping. From there, the supporting services come into play as the customer needs them: training in advance of fielding, MRO once equipment is in service, and advisory work alongside both. The order can be reversed when the situation calls for it, but the centre of gravity is always the equipment itself.
